Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker with their MSW or a Qualified Psychotherapist, from the Wallaceburg/Chatham area, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic support to their clients, with a focus on enhancing their mental health and well-being. This role requires expertise in client care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing treatment plans and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Duties

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions. Collaborate with other professionals, educators, and family members to ensure holistic client care. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using the JANE APP. Engage in ongoing data collection to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience working with clients in a therapeutic setting is highly desirable. Member in good standing with either the OCSWSSW or a fully qualified member in good standing with the CRPO. Experience working with children, youth and adults in a therapeutic role is desirable. Knowledge of Play Therapy Techniques would be an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients that have diverse needs and backgrounds.
