The Supervisor, Security CGW will report to the Sr. Manager, Security Operations. They will supervise and support the security guards, ensure operational readiness of all security infrastructure on-site (CCTV/Access Control/Intrusion Detection/Visitor Management, etc.) and oversee security operations for multiple facilities, both in-person and remotely. What You\'ll Do:
Manage contracted and in-house guards for CG Winnipeg Manufacturing Facilities
Manage daily reporting and patrols through the TrackTik platform
Interview, screen, and assist with the selection and training of site security personnel
Supervise work performance of Security Guards and ensure standards are maintained, including the establishment and maintenance of site security orders
Monitor and manage the movement of personnel and property in and out of the building, including all visitors, and Covid-19 screening procedures
Document, report, and address all security and safety incidents and concerns, including daily and weekly status of all security infrastructure (CCTV/Access Control/Intrusion Detection/Visitor Management/Physical Security Mitigations, etc.), as well as providing Level 1 security support to all CGW facilities
Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with legislative acts, as they relate to the CGW facilities, including evacuation plans and fire drills to ensure emergency preparedness
Participate in Joint Heath and Safety Committee as required
Assist with First Aid / Health and Safety issues / interact with Emergency Services as required
Liaise with Police, Fire, EMS, and By-Law Officers as required

Related experience in Security Supervision
Experience with on-call and call-in work
First Aid-CPR-AED certified
Valid Manitoba Security Guard Licence
ASIS APP or other designations an asset
Proven leadership skills with the innate ability to take initiative
Proven multitasker in a frequently changing environment
Works well as part of a team or independently
Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS), CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems
Knowledge of all building maintenance and safe operation practices
Working Conditions:
Occasional evening, weekend, and night shifts
