As a Security Supervisor, you will be leading a team of guards, ensuring that security operations run smoothly and providing exceptional customer service. You will work with people from all shifts in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities for Security Supervisor
Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise, train, and schedule security officers/guards
• Assign posts and patrol areas
• Monitor staff performance and enforce company policies
• Conduct briefings and shift handovers

2. Security Operations

• Ensure security procedures are followed correctly
• Oversee access control, patrols, and surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms)
• Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and security equipment

3. Incident Management & Reporting

• Investigate incidents such as theft, accidents, or breaches
• Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Ensure evidence is preserved and documented properly

4. Safety & Risk Management

• Identify security risks and recommend improvements
• Enforce health, safety, and fire regulations
• Participate in emergency preparedness and evacuation plans

5. Communication & Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between security staff and management
• Communicate with clients, employees, visitors, and contractors
• Handle complaints or security-related concerns professionally

6. Administrative Duties

• Maintain attendance, leave records, and duty rosters
• Ensure compliance with legal and company security standards
• Assist in audits and security assessments

Qualifications for Security Supervisor

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Excellent leadership skills
• First aid certification (an asset or mandatory)
• Hold a valid Driver's License
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Must Have Reliable Transportation
