Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in security protocols, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role is critical in ensuring a safe environment for all employees and visitors while implementing loss prevention strategies and maintaining surveillance systems.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and respond to suspicious activities or incidents. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures. Provide training and guidance to security staff on conflict management, emergency response, first aid, and CPR procedures. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Develop and maintain effective communication with team members regarding security protocols and incident reporting. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or law enforcement is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Military experience is considered an asset but not required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
