About the Role:

Paladin Security is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee operations at North York General Hospital (Leslie). This role offers a chance to lead a healthcare security team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage complex situations with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to security staff Ensure all standing orders and daily operational activities are executed effectively Enforce compliance with Paladin Security and site-specific policies Plan and organize staff schedules to maintain adequate coverage Oversee training completion and ensure guards meet certification standards Motivate, recognize, and support staff performance and development Manage disciplinary actions and ensure documentation is submitted accurately Conduct regular security audits to maintain compliance Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports Support both proactive and reactive patrols to uphold site safety Liaise with hospital administration and Paladin management to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C (from a WSIB-approved provider) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) Up-to-date immunization records (MMR, Varicella, and two-step Tuberculosis test) Valid G Class Driver's License Willingness to complete N95 Mask Fit Test during training bility to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check Minimum 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience (preferred) Demonstrated ability to train, direct, and motivate staff Excellent written and verbal communication skills Legally authorized to work in Canada
