The purpose of the Site Supervisor is primarily public relations and service while ensuring the requested level of security from all staff is enforced. This position receives direction from Property Management and/or the Manager, Client Service (Paragon). The specific purpose and responsibilities of the supporting site personnel is covered within Site Standing Orders.
Required Experience –
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a security environment (Tactical experience preferred)
Supervisor experience is preferred
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, tact and diplomacy
Excellent written and oral (English) communications skills
Post-Secondary education in a Law Enforcement or Security program is preferred
Job Duties –
Effective problem solving and resolution skills.
Provide supervision and direction for fellow staff members. Reprimands to be carried out tactfully and in private.
Work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Maintain personal appearance. Be in full uniform and well groomed.
Ability to act quickly in a crisis and to be adaptable to changes.
No personal phone calls.
Maintain discretion; do not discuss personal business in the lobby. Be discreet and professional.
This position reports directly to Property Management and the Manager, Client Services. As a Site Supervisor you will develop personal relationships with tenants. Always maintain a professional distance: impartial and polite.
Before Acting, Receives Supervision and Direction from the Manager on: Client/tenant complaints/concerns, conflicts with the Standing Orders, conflict instructions, emergency situations, arrests, injuries and/or approaches to unusual situations.
S.O.R’s (Special Occurrence Reports) submitted by the Security Guard.
Improve employee/client security service, company procedures and policies.
