Position: Security Supervisor

Site: KHSC

City: Kingston, ON

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Continental Rotation - 08:00-20:00/20:00-08:00

Pay Rate: $26.45/hr

Job Skills / Requirements

Reporting to the Security Manager, the Security Supervisor will be responsible for running the shift, ensuring the shift runs smoothly following guidelines set out in the Post Orders, by the client and the Security Manager.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing patrols
• Ensuring completion of all shift paperwork
• Ensuring all work assigned to the shift in completed: patrols, audits, etc.
• Training of new staff
• Scheduling replacement staff when someone books off at the last minutes or calls in sick.
• Review all paperwork from the shift.
• Ensuring all Incident Reports are completed & review them.
• Key Audits
• Supervising emergency situations: Fire, Flood, Power Outage, etc.
• Completing all other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have completed Secondary School \xe2\x80\x93 Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Candidate must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Experience with computers at an intermediate level; programs include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
• Qualified Standard First Aid/CPR C & Defibrillator
• English \xe2\x80\x93 fluency in oral, reading and writing.
• French \xe2\x80\x93 would be an asset.

Job Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Arrest Power, Use of Force
• Understands the importance of providing timely superior client services within the guidelines set out by the Post Orders, the Client, and the Security Manager.

Certification Requirements (Any)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
