About the role
Serve as both a Designated Official (DO) for the Controlled Goods (CG) program and an Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) for the Contract Security Program (CSP).
Responsibilities include:
Conducting CG Security Assessments, submitting personnel security clearance applications, and delivering required security and CG briefings
Manage and monitor the expiration dates of Controlled Goods assessments and personnel security clearances, ensuring timely renewals
Support Lockheed Martin Canada Inc.'s internal visitor management process by reviewing and approving expected visitors through the designated online tool
Assist various programs by coordinating outgoing visits for Lockheed Martin employees to restricted sites, including preparing Requests for Visit (RFVs) and Controlled Goods Attestations
Review and evaluate data and physical access requests to verify compliance with security policies and issue required approvals
Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data entry, attendance tracking for security awareness training, and digitization of security documentation
A stakeholder in process and procedure development, assisting with the digitization and documentation of security related tasks
Referring to established process and procedures when providing guidance to internal/external stakeholders
Monitoring and actioning shared mailbox requests and engaging with the Program Security team when required for program security related matters and support
What you bring to the role
A self-starter with keen attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask effectively
Familiar with the Controlled Goods Program and the assessment process
Knowledgeable in the Contract Security Program and its associated regulations
Skilled in confidently addressing sensitive background-related inquiries
Experience in an administrative role handling data entry, filing, document review
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
3-5 years professional experience
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.
Additional skills desired for the role
Previous experience as a Designated Official (DO) and/or Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) would be considered an asset
Language Requirements in Quebec
Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
