Commissionaires BC is looking for a security supervisor to work Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 16:30 pm at a Passport Office in Richmond. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Interior and exterior patrols
- Access Control and visitor verification
- Crowd control and management
- Responding to potential protesters or media
- Directing incoming mail to relevant staff
- First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
- Investigating incidents promptly and accurately
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
- Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines
- Assist with training and scheduling of Commissionaires
- Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
- Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
- Reporting to the site supervisor and operations management for further duties as necessary
- Valid BC Security License
- Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain one
- Excellent English oral and written skills
- Previous supervisory Experience would be an asset
