Location:

North York, ON (near Dufferin & Steeles)

Pay Rate:

$23.46/hour

Schedule:

Full-Time

- Rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights)

About the Role:

Allied Universal is currently hiring a

Full-Time Security Supervisor

for a pharmaceutical site in North York, ON. We are seeking a reliable, experienced professional with a minimum of

one year of supervisory experience in a security setting

. The successful candidate will lead a team of security professionals, ensuring site safety, compliance with procedures, and a high standard of customer service.

Site-Specific Requirements (Pharmaceutical Facility):

As a condition of assignment, proof of vaccination is required for the following:

Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus

Vaccinations are covered under provincial health plans. Allied Universal will reimburse any additional associated costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support security team members on shift Enforce site policies and maintain a safe and secure environment Conduct regular patrols (on foot and by vehicle) Monitor CCTV and access control systems Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of all incidents and daily activities Communicate effectively with site staff, management, and Allied Universal leadership Facilitate smooth shift handovers and maintain continuity in operations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a security role

1-2 years of experience in a hospital or corporate office setting preferred Valid Ontario Security License Valid

Ontario G-class driver's license and clean driving record

Must be

25 years of age or older

(for company vehicle insurance eligibility) Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada CPR and

Standard First Aid certification

(or willingness to obtain; reimbursement provided) Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Comfortable performing foot patrols and working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
