As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of security guards including but not limited to; training guards, reviewing logs/entries, reporting reviewed daily and sent to the branch, monitoring alarms, CCTV and ensuring the safety and security of client sites. Must have great verbal and written communication skills
Must have minimum 5 years of Supervisor experience
5-7 or more years of security experience (Required)
Must have great computer
Must have a valid Security Guard license
Ability to train guards on daily tasks on a site

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.
Advises management on reactions to emergency and ensures subordinates respond appropriately.
Inspects, evaluates risks and ensures adequate coverage for this client site. This includes compliance with post orders, associated regulations and the Clients Global Security/Fire Prevention and Protection Manual.
Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
Interfaces with Plant/ Site management to discuss security/ fire services provided, identifies problem areas, provides recommendations for security solutions and takes corrective action.
Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
Conduct Video Reviews on request and documentation as needed.
Follows-up with other members of the Division/Group/Regional Security team to discuss progress and related issues, assuring deadlines are met and consistency of practices exists.
Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client
's
property and assets.
Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Must have valid provincial Security Guard License
Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must have a valid First Aid and CPR Certification
Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
5-7 or more years of security experience (Required)
Must have minimum 5 years of Supervisor experience.
Ability to physically respond to all medical emergencies.
Strong analytical skills needed to analyze complex data and develop reasonable analysis, appropriate conclusions and/ or innovative solutions. Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
Excellent organizational skills
Able
to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
Basic computer skills such a
s the ability to use Microsoft Office.
Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
Must be able to get more training if required.
