Project Manager (PM)

to join our team in

The PM will be responsible for overseeing restricted access control and ensuring compliance with site-specific security requirements at a marine offloading facility. This position requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and adherence to established security and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee and enforce restricted access control for the marine offloading facility Monitor and document personnel and vehicle movements entering or exiting the site Ensure compliance with all site-specific security and safety procedures Maintain accurate security logs, documentation, and reports Communicate effectively with site management, contractors, and visiting personnel Respond to incidents and escalate issues following company and client protocols Conduct periodic inspections of access points to ensure operational integrity Participating in regular briefings and meetings with SSRG executives

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in security, industrial or marine environment Valid BC Security License Valid Intermediate First Aid or Level C CPR/AED certification Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Reliable, responsible, and able to perform duties with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Must reside in or near Prince Rupert or Terrace, BC (local candidates preferred)

Valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract Advanced Security Training (AST) and Crisis Intervention/De-escalation (CPKN) certificates are assets High school diploma required; college diploma or university degree preferred

Work Conditions

$25.00 - $28.00/hour 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation / 12-hour shifts Meals and housing at site provided at no cost Full uniform provided including PPE. Incumbent need only provide personal black, approved footwear (boot allowance provided).
