Mission Objective

The

Security Operator

will be assigned to

patrol duties

on foot, maintaining full situational awareness throughout the property at all times. Operators are responsible for perimeter security, threat detection, and accurate reporting through our digital patrol software. This role demands composure under pressure, tactical readiness, and adherence to MGL's operational protocols.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct

systematic foot patrols

across assigned sectors to maintain perimeter integrity. Utilize

digital patrol software

to log checkpoints, incidents, and daily activity reports.

Monitor and assess surveillance feeds

to identify threats, suspicious activity, or potential hazards. Maintain

continuous vigilance

and awareness of environmental changes and risk indicators. Respond immediately to

alarms, emergencies, or security breaches

, applying Use of Force or de-escalation techniques as required. Submit

detailed incident and shift reports

in accordance with MGL documentation standards. Maintain direct communication with

MGL Operation Center

and

Site Supervisor

during the shift. Enforce site rules and maintain a

professional, authoritative presence

at all times. Support emergency protocols, including lockdowns, evacuations, and crisis response if activated.

Required Qualifications

Valid

Ontario Security Guard License

(mandatory)*
Valid

Use of Force / Handcuff Certification

(mandatory)*
Minimum

1 year of professional security or tactical operations experience

preferred Strong

command presence

, communication, and reporting skills Physically fit and able to

patrol for extended periods

in various environments Reliable, punctual, and mission-oriented mindset Availability for

evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Basic proficiency with

mobile reporting systems and digital patrol applications
