Commissionaires BC is currently hiring for casual on call Security Guards to work various shifts at a High Profile Government site in Prince George BC.

On Call Shifts available:

• Monday to Friday mornings, afternoon and overnights
• Weekends mornings, afternoon and overnights

Your Must-Haves:

• Must be a resident of Canada for more than 5 years as per security requirements
• You hold a valid BC security license
• Class 5 Drivers License
• You have 1-2 years of Security experience
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• You have proven time-management and organizational skills
• OFA 1 or willing to take the course

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Construction site escorts for trades
• Foot patrols of residential building, interior and exterior
• Maintaining a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Offering first class customer service to the client and members of the public
• Access Control
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
