Position Overview

We are seeking disciplined, reliable, and customer-service-oriented

Tactical Security Guards

to work in high-traffic retail environments. This role demands strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods (8+ hours). You will be expected to handle both routine and high-stress situations with professionalism and authority.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a strong security presence and maintain high visibility in retail locations. Stand and remain on foot patrol for the majority of your shift (8+ hours). Monitor for theft, vandalism, suspicious activity, and safety hazards. Deter and respond to security incidents using approved protocols. Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing store policies. Collaborate with store management and law enforcement when necessary. Write accurate incident and daily activity reports. Remain on-call for emergency coverage and short-notice assignments.

Requirements

Valid Security Guard License Minimum 1 year of security or related tactical experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours) and work long shifts. Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Flexibility for on-call and varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to remain calm and in control during confrontations or emergencies.
