DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre is now seeking a dedicated

Hotel Security Officer

to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and associates. the hours for this position will be M-F, 10:30am-7pm. This role involves patrolling the property, assisting guests, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine patrols of the hotel, parking areas, and exterior grounds. Assist guests with directions, escorts, and service requests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness in public areas, including fitness centers and washrooms. Respond promptly to security concerns and document incidents. Enforce hotel policies, including verifying access to restricted areas. Lead emergency response efforts when required. Support hotel operations by reporting maintenance issues and assisting with guest services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Grade 12 education. 1-2 years of security experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Must have Valid Security Guard license and 40-hour security certification (or provincial equivalent). Must have Valid First Aid & CPR certification. Strong de-escalation and communication skills. Professional, reliable, and customer service oriented.

Work Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Minimum 19 years of age. Must wear the designated security uniform. Attendance at all required training and meetings. Adherence to all hotel policies and confidentiality agreements.

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
