Northeastern Protection Service has been providing Security solutions for over 38 years and has employed hundreds of guards during this time. We are currently seeking reliable and professional security officers to provide services at a high profile industrial client site in Port Hawkesbury.

Position Type:

1 Full Time

1 Part Time

Shift Schedule- Rotational, must be available to work days, nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of the facility(interior and exterior) Maintain a visible and professional security presence on site. Monitor access control points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises. Respond to emergencies, incidents and alarms in a calm and efficient manner. Report and document incidents accurately using site protocols. Maintain detailed and timely logbooks and incident reports. Liaise with emergency responders when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (required) Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (required) Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. High School Diploma/GED Previous security experience is an asset. Must be physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols. Must have strong communication and problem solving skills. Ability to pass a Medical Fitness Requirement (MFR) - assessment will be provided after hiring. Ability to get a security license in the province of Nova Scotia. Must be reliable, punctual , and professional at all the times.
