Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This position requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting surveillance, and implementing loss prevention strategies.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, visitors, and employees.

Requirements

Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties and respond quickly when necessary. High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
