As a Security Guard at Admiral Investigations, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' properties, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control:

Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.

Patrols:

Conduct routine patrols to deter criminal activity and respond to incidents, ensuring the safety and security of the property.

Emergency Response:

Act promptly in case of emergencies, such as fires, medical situations, or security breaches, and report incidents as necessary.

Surveillance:

Use surveillance equipment to monitor and report on suspicious activities, ensuring a proactive security presence.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients and visitors with information and directions when needed.

Report Writing:

Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting any security-related incidents and activities during your shift.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other security personnel, local law enforcement, and emergency services when required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

No Prior License Required:

We can assist you with the security guard license application process.

First Aid and CPR Certification

: Certification is considered an asset.

Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Observational Skills:

Be detail-oriented and able to identify potential security threats.

Customer Service Orientation:

Friendly, approachable, and capable of providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Professional Demeanor:

Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while on duty.

Valid NB Driver's License:

A valid Nova Scotia driver's license is preferred.

Bilingualism

(French and English) is an asset.
