Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Officer will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as necessary.

Duties

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets. Manage conflicts effectively by using conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate situations.

Experience

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
