You respond to emergencies (e.g., fire alarms, health and safety, intrusion alarms, access control violations) and assist colleagues as required to ensure that the security of Bank sites is maintained.
You operate state-of-the-art security equipment by conducting surveillance of vital areas of the Bank: monitoring alarms, detecting intrusion and directing response officers in an emergency.
As a Security Officer you ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and assets. In this role, you will monitor access, verify and authorize employees, vendors, and visitors, manage the visitor management database, and issue or collect temporary passes, as well as support internal employees in troubleshooting any card issues. You will also respond to alarms, activate emergency protocols, and communicate with management during incidents.
Your responsibilities include observing and investigating suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports on incidents, and escorting personnel and visitors in high-security areas. You will greet guests at entry points, maintain collaborative relationships with staff, and provide security support for special events. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational and communication skills, a background in security or law enforcement, and the ability to perform under pressure, with a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
