Job Description
AIRPORT SECURITY OFFICER - Overnights (Kelowna)
Saturday - Thursday: 2200 - 0600 (Overnights)
Are you interested in airport security and would like to become an integral part of the safety and security team, help passengers and airport staff with navigating the airport, access control and other security needs.
Must Haves:
- Valid BC Security Worker\'s License
- Class 5 Drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be using a radio and writing reports.
- Ability to pass and retain security clearances (RAIC and AVOP). Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid BC Security Worker\'s License.
- Advanced to Intermediate Computer skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and complete foot patrols both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
- Bylaw Certificate
- Radio Experience
- OFA (Occupational First Aid) Level 1
