- Must be able to provide a clean basic criminal record check

- Have a security certificate, or be able to complete a security guard 40-hour course

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Provide assistance to visitors and employees while ensuring adherence to security policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches encountered during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Security Guard Licence (required)
