Position Overview

We're looking for a Security & Network Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute immediately to ongoing projects. This role involves working directly with our managed service clients and supporting consulting engagements focused on network and security infrastructure. The start date for this position is January 05, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of secure network architectures utilizing firewalls and related technologies Lead smaller deployments independently and collaborate on larger projects with senior engineers. Support and maintain network infrastructure and SaaS security solutions (Cisco Umbrella, MFA, TrendMicro Endpoint and Email Security, etc.). Act as an escalation resource for managed service tickets and resolve security or network-related communication issues. Provide support outside of regular hours as needed Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and project deliverables Learn how to deploy new products and maintain them effectively as part of ongoing service and project work. Stay current with emerging technologies and security best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. 5-10 years of cybersecurity experience in roles such as Network Analyst, Security Analyst, or similar. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with firewall technologies. Proven experience with network engineering including TCP/IP stack configuration, VLANs/LAN/WAN design. Strong knowledge of network security principles including encryption methods, IPSec, IDS/IPS deployment (Snort). Certification: CCNA Security (preferred) or equivalent. Experience with Cisco security and networking products. Experience with incident response and recovery is considered an asset. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Genuine interest in technology and a proactive approach to professional development. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
