Accountable for development, implementation and management of SaskTel Information Security Program deliverables including Governance and Policy, Education and Awareness, Enterprise Security Architecture, Incident Handling and Assurance Monitoring. Accountable for management of risk associated with SaskTel\'s information assets. Accountable for and responsible to conduct investigations related to incidents involving SaskTel information assetsSPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Development, implementation and management of Holdco security policy and governance frameworks in alignment with corporate and industry
priorities.
2. Accountable to consult on all SaskTel business plans, programs, projects and major initiatives advising on the required security aspects and ensuring inclusion of adequate security controls.
3. Develop, maintain and administer SaskTel\'s security incident response processes.
4. Conduct systems investigations pertaining to criminal activity against SaskTel, code of conduct, non compliance, external threats or breach of information Present investigative findings to SaskTel Executive and/or judicial proceedings such as arbitration hearings or criminal court.
5. Development, implementation and management of a security compliance framework.
6. Assess compliance with security policies, and work with the appropriate management to ensure gaps are addressed.
7. Development implementation and management of a Holdco security assurance monitoring program.
8. Perform risk assessments against the organization\'s information systems and network assets.
9. Accountable for meeting law enforcement, internal and external customer and emergency demands or enquiries on a 7/24/365 basis.
10. Accountable to handle law enforcement requests, court orders and emergency situations professionally and ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Required to appear and testify in any resulting court proceedings.QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and training in Computer Science, normally gained through post secondary education at the university degree or technical institute level or the equivalent in certificate courses supplemented by systems development in a professional development environment.
2. Education and training in criminology/police sciences normally gained through post secondary education at the university or college level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Security certification or a law enforcement background would be an asset.
3. Extensive experience in the application of information security principles and techniques.
4. Demonstrated strong analytical and research skills with knowledge of investigative techniques for the collection and presentation of evidence.
5. Ability to obtain Federal security clearance.
6. Required to obtain industry recognized security certifications in computer forensics and security fields.
7. Knowledge of the Criminal Code and Federal and Provincial Statutes as they pertain to the telecommunications and information technology industries.
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deal effectively with others.
9. Thorough knowledge of the technologies as implemented by the Holdco.#LI-POST.This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan. Out of province/country candidates must be willing to relocate.
