Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing theft, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations Enforce loss prevention policies by monitoring for theft or vandalism Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required Assist with crowd control during events or high-traffic periods Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with directions or inquiries

Requirements

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques Strong observational skills with attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols on foot or via vehicle if necessary Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including nights or weekends if required Valid security license is a must First Aid /CPR certificate (must provide certificate)
