We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

We are looking for a full-time day shift guard from 10:00-18:00hrs (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems and report any irregularities or violations. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all individuals on the premises. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required.

Skills

Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment including CCTV systems. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable; prior experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
