Corporate Investigation Services (C.I.S.) is currently recruiting a licensed Security Guard for project-based work for a labour disruption in the Windsor area. (Project-based means when this project is completed, the work ends) Position: Security Guard Base Rate of Pay: $24.00 per hour (overtime paid at 1.5 x base rate) with the potential to earn up to $2,496/week plus expenses. Other Payable Expenses: $45 per day meal allowance. $5.00 per day cell phone allowance. Shifts & Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week. Shifts Run 6:00PM - 6:00AM Position Skills, Abilities & Qualifications: ? Possess a valid Security Guard License for the province of Ontario; ? Possess a valid Ontario Class ?G? driver?s license; ? Readily available and willing to work on short notice and remain on the project for a minimum of 4 weeks; ? Ability to work 7, 12-hour shifts for an extended schedule including weekends and holidays; This is not a suitable position for a student or someone with competing demands of a second job. ? Ability to sit, stand, walk or drive a vehicle for extended periods of time; ? Ability to effectively communicate, read and write in English; ? Ability to work in a variety of stressful and/or crisis situations in a professional and calm manner; ? Ability to work effectively alone and in a team environment; ? Ability to interact with others in a respectful manner; ?
