Job Description
Commissionaires BC is looking for a guard to work Friday and Saturday midnight to 8am at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans site in Cultus Lake
Your Must Haves \xe2\x80\xa6
- Valid BC Security License
- Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for Government Clearance eligibility
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain one
- Excellent English oral and written skills
Interior and exterior patrols
Monitoring main gate for entry and exit
Ensuring property is secured at all times
Checking perimeter fence line throughout shift
Conducting inside patrol of Main Lab and Warehouse to ensure no safety or security issues
Ensure buildings are properly secured and alarmed after normal working hours
Responding to intrusion alarms
Responding to building and equipment alarms
Notify supervisor and client of anything that may be of concern, such as chemical leaks, spills or maintenance issues and all emergency situations
