Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or security breaches. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or incidents. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment operation. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus. Must have valid Security Guard licence.
