Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security. Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management or law enforcement as required. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations during shifts. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV technology is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and visitors. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods while conducting patrols. A valid security guard license or certification may be required depending on state regulations.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
