Are you interested in working with the RCMP? We are currently recruiting for professional security officers to work at the RCMP Pacific Regional Training Centre in Chilliwack. Fulltime staff are required to work 4 on 4 off, days, afternoon and graveyard shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the security industry and eager to gain experience working directly with the RCMP. ***Please note - This position requires successful canidates to obtain a RCMP reliability clearance, which can take 5+ months to complete*** Your Must ? Haves ?

• Valid BC Security Licence
• Lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes
• OFA 1 or willing to obtain
• Class 5 Drivers Licence

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Performing exterior foot and vehicle patrols
• Access control and unlocking/locking of site access
• Alarm response
• Maintaining official visitor logs, count sheets, sign-in/out sheets
• Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations
• Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards
