We are currently hiring a part time Security Guard to support our client - a global pharmaceutical and health services technology leader at their Mississauga location. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in corporate security, with a strong background in identity and access management. Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, professional environment.

Position Overview:
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Saturday 7:30AM-3:30PM and Sunday 5:30AM-2:30PM
Payrate: $19.50/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify and issue visitor badges and employee badges.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the building on multiple floors.
• Tech savvy, working on multiple systems.
• Assist client employees with inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Excellent knowledge of computers.
• Minimum 1 years of security experience, preferably in a corporate or concierge environment
• Hands-on experience with access control systems and CCTV surveillance
• Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and deliver outstanding customer service
• Flexible availability to work various shifts based on business needs
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional setting
