Job Description
Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Part-time Security Guard in Halton Hills, Ontario.
Job Details:
- Part-time (Friday to Monday)
- Flexible - Mornings 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM & Afternoons 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (must be available for both shifts)
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- CPR Level C Certified.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and consistent access to a vehicle.
- Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons & weekends.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional work ethics.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs.
- Exceptional Customer Service.
- Full-time.

- Pay rate $16/hr
