Saturday and Sunday 0800 - 1600 and 1600 - 2400, Downtown Kelowna

$22.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced security worker with excellent communication skills looking to make an impact in their community working Saturday and Sunday, 0800 - 1600 and 1600-2400, in Kelowna.

Commissionaires BC is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927. Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and country.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Extensive Patrolling.
• Maintaining a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Offering first class customer service to the client and members of the public
• Work with and respect the diverse community of Kelowna, supporting and guiding where needed
• Access Control
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts, Manage any issues arising from anyone in area under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

Your Must-Haves:

• You hold a valid BC security license
• You hold Class 5 BC Driver's License
• You have 1-2 years of Security experience
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• You have proven time-management and organizational skills

• Occupational first aid level 1
