Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on the property. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or provide information. Conduct security checks of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and reporting it accordingly.

Skills

Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment. Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents clearly. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to potential security issues.

Job Type: Part-time
