Job Description
Commissionaires BC is currently hiring for a full-time security guards to work Mon to Fri days as part of our downtown Kelowna Security Team. A valid BC Class 5 driver\'s license is mandatory for this position.
SHIFTS: Mon to Fri: 0800 - 1600 (8:00AM to 4:00PM)
Your Must-Haves:
- You hold a valid BC security license
- Class 5 Drivers Licence
- 1-2 years working in security
- You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Continuous foot patrols of downtown Kelowna
- Maintaining a safe environment for residents, business owners and those visiting Kelowna
- Handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
- Above industry wages for the area
