What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.
As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in a retail environment located at 218 Yonge St, Toronto (Eaton Centre).

Hourly wage of $18.40
We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy
Shift Schedule: Friday & Saturday: 1300-2100, Sunday: 1100-1900

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification - required
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
