Responsibilities for Hotel Security Guard

Monitor the hotel entrance and maintain a visible security presence Greet and acknowledge visitors as they enter and exit the building Identify and remove unauthorized or disruptive individuals in a professional manner Conduct patrols as directed, covering key areas such as the entrance, back alley/laneway, and parkade Use handcuffs only as a last resort when escorting individuals off-site Observe and report Ensure continuous lobby coverage

Qualifications for Hotel Security Guard

Have a valid BC security guard license and Advanced Security Training (AST) Ability to stand and walk the floor for a 6 - 8-hour period Have a valid MOAB certificate (Management of Aggressive Behavior) Good verbal and written communication skills Available to work flexible hours Have a clear criminal background Be eligible to work in Canada
