Security Guard

:

Bourque Security Services NS is seeking hard-working, dependable, and safety-oriented workers to join our security guard division. As a licensed security guard, you shall be responsible for completing regular shift tasks of a security guard as per the assigned site and BSSNS' client's needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of the Site Supervisor as required.. Conduct regular foot patrols, noting and reporting all issues related to the security of the assigned location as per it's requirements. Write and maintain a working shift report indicating the time as required. Maintain professional communication with all members of the public, cliental, and fellow staff. Maintain a professional & polite attitude with the public and clients at all times. Arrive well rested and neatly groomed for all shifts. Arrive for your shift in complete uniform, with all required PPE and items required as per the site instructions. Write and submit incident and accident reports as required.

Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be of good physical and mental alertness. Must be of mature judgement. Must be of pleasant, cooperative manner. Must be able to write neatly and legibly.

Certifications:

Drivers License (Preferred/not required) First Aid Course (Preferred/not required) WHMIS (Preferred/will train) Non-violent Crisis Intervention (Preferred/will train) MOAB: Management of Aggressive Behavior (Preferred/will train) Previous experience in a Health Care environement is preferred.

Pay: $15.70-$19.00 per hour
