Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Guard!:

Paladin Security is hiring Seasonal Full-Time Security Guards for the Gananoque Marina. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with the public, and ensuring the safety of community spaces. You'll gain hands-on experience in security while supporting the safety of marina staff, boaters, and visitors.

Hourly Rate:

$19.50/hour

Responsibilities:

Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols Perform exterior patrols for the majority of the shift Respond to incidents and enforce site security Lock and secure washrooms and facilities Ensure no unauthorized individuals are on site after 2200 hours Liaise with Paladin and the Marina Coordinator to resolve safety concerns Assist boaters as needed Enforce parking and by-law regulations Write incident reports and daily shift reports Investigate routine incidents Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Valid Security License for Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved vendor) Valid G or G2 Driver's License (or equivalent) Reliable and dedicated vehicle in good repair Strong oral and written English communication skills Legally authorized to work in Canada Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and/or Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) - If not certified, willingness to complete Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding (training costs covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment to the role)
