Job Description

EagleForce Security is hiring licensed and professional Security Guards to provide on-site security services at a multi-tenant commercial office building in the Newmarket area. This position is ideal for security professionals who demonstrate strong judgment, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach while working in a public-facing environment that supports office staff, service providers, and visitors.

Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and orderly environment while following EagleForce Security protocols and site-specific post orders.

Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Provide uniformed on-site security coverage during scheduled operating hours Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the building and surrounding areas Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to support access control and safety Maintain a visible and professional security presence while delivering courteous customer service Respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner Apply verbal de-escalation techniques when managing conflicts or disturbances Communicate effectively with building staff, tenants, and visitors Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports Follow all EagleForce Security policies, post orders, and reporting requirements Ensure compliance with the Private Security and Investigative Services Act and applicable regulations

Qualifications

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence in good standing Minimum one year of security experience in a commercial or public-facing environment Experience working in office buildings, multi-tenant facilities, or community-facing sites is an asset Current First Aid and CPR certification (required prior to start date) Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in challenging situations Knowledge of PSISA requirements and Ontario security standards Professional appearance and conduct at all times Reliable, punctual, and committed to EagleForce Security standards Availability for weekday shifts, with flexibility for additional coverage as required Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence
