Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Perform regular internal and external foot patrols in all academic and residential buildings
• Training provided to respond to emergency calls for assistance, including medical matters, fire alarms, etc.
• Conduct investigations internally, interviewing, cross checking and liaising with cross department teams
• Ensure a safe and secure environment in the lunch rooms, school grounds and parking lot
• Maintain excellent written reports and records through security reports and personal notebook entries
• Lock and unlock campus buildings and offices as necessary
• Address students in violation of school policy and follow through on the appropriate discipline
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements

• Qualified in First Aid, CPR, and AED (Level C)
• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Hours of Work

• Must be available to work scheduled shifts as required by business operations (including evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays)
