Position: Security Guard, Corporate Office

City: Client has various locations in Chatham and within 45km of Chatham, ON

Status: Casual/Spare

Hours: Continental Rotation (0800-2000/2000-0800)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

: Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols on foot and in a marked vehicle. You will control access and egress to the property by signing in all visitors and enforce site policies. You will be required to write daily reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You will monitor CCTV cameras. You will conduct safety orientations.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to utilize computer and various software including Microsoft Office and two-way radios
• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Emergency First Aid & CPR
• Valid Ontario Driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal/written communication skills in English
• Professional demeanor and deportment
• Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions and respond to emergencies while working independently
• Superior customer service skills
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• Reliable transportation to the job site
• Position requires the ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to read and understand established post orders and follow direction from Manager
• This position requires an interview with the Regional Account Manager

Qualifications: * A Valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Valid First aid & CPR Level C
• Proof of Double Covid 19 Vaccine (Site Requirement)
• Proficient in English (both oral and written

Certification Requirements (All)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
