Position: Security Guard, Commercial (Full time)
Location: 1020 Osprey Rd, Ancaster
Schedule: Mon-Fri 16:00 to 00:00
Hourly Pay Rate: $16.84
Training pay rate: $15.50 for 16 hours
What does a Security Guard in Ancaster do?
- Security Screening with Handheld metal detectors
Inbound/Outbound truck logging and inspection
Interior and exterior patrols * Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork
- Respond to internal alarms
- Process inbound/outbound truck
- Take calls at security desk
- A positive and dynamic environment
- Opportunity for advancement in the security industry
- Ongoing training and development
- Full uniform
- Valid Provincial Security Guard license
- First AID CPR
- Previous logistics experience an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Ability to perform site patrols
