Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment across our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel and visitors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided for qualified applicants. The position offers full-time employment with scheduled shifts, emphasizing professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the property Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing appropriate action or escalation as needed Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining a professional demeanor Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention Conduct loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and identifying potential thefts or misconduct

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is preferred Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure during emergencies or high-stress situations Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively Must be able to pass background checks and any required security clearances Availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
