We are looking for a Part-Time Security Guard to work at one of our Cargo settings. Security guard at Cargo Setting are specialized professionals who receive extensive training to Adhere to Cargo Screening and security procedures, while demonstrating vigilance and excellent customer service in a dynamic environment. Our Security Guards undergo rigorous specialized training, so it is not essential to have previous security experience or licenses, but you will require great communication skills and customer service experience.

What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Deter criminal activity
• Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures.
• Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Cargo Screening
• Basic Computer skills
• Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client\'s site
• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Protect the client\'s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in {City

• Fluency in English, spoken and written. Fluency in French is an asset
• Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
• Strong teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize, remain calm and alert while multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
• Must be able to obtain a Transportation Canada Security Clearance (RAIC)
• Comfortable undertaking training and operating in a rapidly changing, high tech setting
• Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
• Strong teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize, remain calm and alert while multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
• Able to work Afternoon shifts
