Full-time permanent positions we are looking to fillFT1: Monday to Thursday (0630-1530)FT2: Monday to Friday (1530-2300)Part-time permanent positions we are looking to fillPT1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (0700-1500)PT2: Saturday and Sunday (1500-2230)What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?

• Maintain a safe and Secure environment
• Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
• Performing Patrol ( Interior ) at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client\'s site.
• Protect the client\'s assets relative to theft, assault and other safety issues.
• Maintain good staff relationship.
• Being first contact for Emergency responders.
• Daily monitoring of CCTV.
• Documentation of systems.
• Respond to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security breaches.
• Handle access control systems.
• Work effectively as a team player.
• Provide excellent customer service, with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Walk outside in any weather conditions to ensure the safety of employees.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and incident reports.
• Issue access cards.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license.
• Capable of prolonged standing, walking up and down stairs, and sitting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with technology.
• Must not be using personal phone for the complete shift
• Customer service oriented
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
