Guardteck Security is looking for a

Security Officer

for a

Full Time, Morning position

in

Burnaby, BC.

You will be working with one of the best-managed security companies in Western Canada. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional skills in customer service, effective problem-solving, and decision making.

Wage:

$19.00 to $20.00/hr

What you should have:

Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training Advanced Security Training (Preferred but not mandatory) Valid OFA Level 1 Must be familiar with handling vagrants and intoxicated persons Must be confident in verbal conflict de-escalation Proficient in the English language (verbal & written) Able to complete high-quality reports Top-notch customer service, with previous experience, considered a strong asset Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively Strong observation and communication skills Must be able to work Full-Time (Morning Shifts). Minimum 2 years of experience in Security.
