Job Description
Commissionaires BC is currently hiring two seasonal Security Guard positions to work downtown Kelowna.
Shifts available: Now until to September 30, 2023.
- Mon to Fri: 0700 - 1500
- You hold a valid BC security license
- 1-2 years working in security
- You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Non Violent Crisis Intervention training
- OFA Level 1
- De-escalation skills
- Ability to work more than one site.
- Experience using Tracktik software
- Continuous foot patrols of downtown Kelowna.
- Maintaining a safe environment for residents, business owners and those visiting Kelowna.
- Handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner.
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts.
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor.
- Above industry wages for the area
